Tax Collector - (207) 723-7006 The Office of the Tax Collector is located on the first floor of the Municipal Building with the Town Clerk's Office. The Tax Collector is responsible for recording and collecting taxes owed to the Town of Millinocket.
The Tax Collector collects property, automobile, motorcycle, boat, snowmobile and ATV taxes. The Tax Collector also collects wastewater treatments bill that are sent out quarterly by the town. You can register a new or used vehicle or a previously owned (second hand) vehicle with the Tax Collector. The necessary paperwork is different for each type of vehicle, specific information is available in the left hand column.
The Town of Millinocket is connected to the State of Maine's online automobile registration website. You can select the link on the left for "Rapid Renewal" and register your vehicle online.
